David currently lives in Southampton, the place he has called his home since birth.
In 2018, he briefly moved away to the Isle of Wight, where he became actively involved in the creative arts scene.
It was during his stay on the island that he discovered his love for writing poetry, and also where he won a number of awards for his short story writing.
After nearly eight years of island life he decided to move back to the city of his birth, where he is currently busy promoting the sale of his first published children's book called The Search for Donkey Paradise, a recent prize-winning runner-up in the 2025 IOW Book awards.
David is currently working on the sequel to The Search for Donkey Paradise, which, once again, features Steve the Hedgehog, as he reveals why Williams paddock at the IOW sanctuary was given its name.
You can win a chance to recieve a free, signed copy of that sequel, and have your child's or grandchild's name featured as one of the characters in the book. Head to his contacts page on this website for further details.
